How to Get to Sikkim

By Air: The most convenient method to get to Sikkim is to fly to the nearest airport in West Bengal, Bagdodra Airport. When you arrive at the airport, you may either arrange a cab or a helicopter flight to Sikkim. By cab, the trip to Sikkim will take around 4 hours, but if you use the helicopter service, it will only take 20 minutes. If you’re short on time, you may also look for flights to Pakyong airport on the day of your trip. This airport is not far from Gangtok.

By Train: If you are travelling to Sikkim by train, you must disembark at Siliguri’s New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.

Via Road: The best way to go to Sikkim is by car. Traveling to Sikkim is also more exciting for adventurers because the route is nice and there are fantastic places to halt along the way.
