      Day 1Arrival in Darjeeling

      Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station, and transfer to Darjeeling (approx. 70 km / 3 hrs). As you travel across the calming winding roads across the layers of misty hills and emerald tea gardens, watch Darjeeling gradually unfolding itself and revealing its timeless charm. Darjeeling attracts hundreds of tourists every year for its finest blend of colonial grace, Himalayan grandeur and earthy, simple beauty. With the cool mountain breeze breathe in the waft of fragrance emanating from pine and tea leaves. Stay delighted with the distant glimpses of the Kanchenjunga range shimmer through drifting clouds.

      Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax amidst the serene surroundings. In the evening, take a lazy stroll through the lively town streets of Darjeeling, peep at the cafes and eateries, savour the authentic smells of hill cuisine and discover your “ah” moment with a warm cup of the world-famous Darjeeling tea. As the sun gradually sets over the ridges, Darjeeling welcomes you with the promise of breathtaking dawns, cozy mountain evenings, and a gentle rhythm that soothes both heart and soul.       Day 2Darjeeling Sightseeing

      Day 2 is for visiting the special tourist attractions of Darjeeling. Early morning at around 4 am,  drive to Tiger Hill to watch the mesmerising sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. En route visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Batasia Loop will come to you as a marvel of engineering and beauty where the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway makes a graceful spiral loop amidst landscaped gardens while Ghoom Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Darjeeling, that was built way back in 1850. It houses a magnificent 15-foot statue of Maitreya Buddha or the Future Buddha and preserves ancient Tibetan manuscripts. This place is a source of infinite peace and solitude. After breakfast at a local eatery, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute established in 1954 to honour Tenzing Norgay’s historic ascent of Mount Everest and Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, which is a high-altitude zoo and a home to rare Himalayan wildlife such as the Snow Leopard, Red Panda, and Tibetan Wolf. also visit the Tenzing Rock, a natural rock face named after Tenzing Norgay and enjoy the serene ambience of Tea Garden. There are several tea estates that you visit, click pictures and buy the famous Darjeeling tea after tasting. Explore Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, which are both peaceful attractions and strategically located that commands beautiful views.

      Day 3Darjeeling to Gangtok Transfer + Half-Day Sightseeing

      After breakfast, drive to Gangtok (approx. 100 km / 4 hrs). On arrival, check in and visit the famous tourist attractions of Gangtok. The small, sleepy hill town of Sikkim, Gangtok, will win your hearts with its simple mountain living, humble people with warm hospitality and spectacular natural beauty along with the stupendous Himalayas standing towering as the supreme guardian angel. Visit the sacred Do Drul Chorten Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist shrines in Sikkim, surrounded by prayer wheels and a serene spiritual aura. Next visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which interestingly houses rare manuscripts, ancient thangkas, and priceless artifacts that reflect Sikkim’s rich Buddhist heritage.

      Next, explore the Handicraft and Handloom Centre, where skilled artisans showcase traditional Sikkimese crafts, carpets, and woodwork. Wrap up your day’s sightseeing with a visit to the Flower Exhibition Centre, exhibiting the incandescent blush of seasonal blooms and exotic orchids that reflects the natural beauty of the Himalayas. Return to your hotel by afternoon. Rest of the day is at leisure to unwind or explore MG Marg, the most happening place to be and known for being Gangtok’s lively pedestrian boulevard.       Day 4Departure from Gangtok

      After breakfast, check out and transfer to NJP / Bagdogra for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Sikkim. After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to the misty hills and fluttering prayer flags of Gangtok. You will carry the town’s calm rhythm, smiling faces, and mountain charm and the sense of peace long after you depart. As you drive down the winding roads toward NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, the emerald valley’s, bid a quiet farewell to the towering distant snow-capped Himalayan peaks.       Transfers in Sikkim (Car Options)

      From airport/train station pick up and drop to transfers between attractions (such as Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake to Baba Mandir), all transfers provided in a clean and well-maintained car (SUV/hatchback). The car options are: 

      Standard four-wheeler: Tata Sumo / Bolero / WagonR  or similar

      Luxury four-wheeler: Innova / Xylo / Scorpio or similar 

      Please note that the biggest vehicle we can offer is a 7-seater SUV. We do not provide bus or tempo traveller options.

      Documents for Permits in Sikkim (ILP/PAP)
      1. Tourists with an Indian citizenship must provide Voter ID or Driving License, or Passport as proof of citizenship along with 2 passport size photos to get a permit.
      1. For kids, a birth certificate or passport along with 2 passport size photos are required documents to obtain a permit.
      1. Aadhaar card and PAN card are NOT proof of citizenship and thus will not be considered as valid documents for acquiring a permit. 
      1. Service of a tour guide is mandatory in case of a foreigner travellers who want to visit North Sikkim / Nathula pass & Baba Mandir.
      1. For Foreign travellers must obtain a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) for which a valid passport and an Indian visa along with the application form is required.
      1. Minimum two foreign tourists are required to obtain the required permit for North Sikkim/Nathula pass & Baba Mandir. Sole foreign tourists are not allowed to visit restricted areas in Sikkim.
