Ravangla is a picturesque resort in South Sikkim, situated at an elevation of 7,000 feet. It is an ideal location for rest and relaxation while taking in the breathtaking vistas of the snow-capped Himalayas, including Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Sinjolchu, and Mt. Pandim. Ravangala experiences bitterly cold winters, with temperatures plummeting to sub-zero. It’s cool during the day and even colder at night. Even though it is freezing in the winter, Ravangla is a great place to visit. It is recommended that you bring heavy woollens with you.
Ravangla has a temperate climate in the summer, with temperatures ranging from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. Ravangla receives rain on occasion throughout the summer.
Ravangla receives roughly 300 cm of rain on average during the monsoon season. Heavy rains are sometimes accompanied by powerful winds. The temperature fluctuates from 12 to 17 degrees Celsius.
