How to reach Yuksom

By Air, You Can Get To Yuksom

Bagdogra Airport in Siliguri, West Bengal, is the nearest airport, located 159 kilometres from Yuksom. It takes around 6-7 hours to drive there. Yuksom is 123 kilometres from Gangtok, and the most efficient way to get there is to fly into Gangtok and then drive down to Yuksom.

Regular flights link the airport to several of the country’s most populous cities. You can book a private cab from the airport to get to Yuksom.

The good news is that Sikkim now has its own airport, Pakyong Airport, which, if fully operational, will provide direct connections to India’s major cities.

Getting to Yuksom by Train

Yuksom is served by the New Jalpaiguri railway station in Siliguri, West Bengal. Yuksom is around 153 kilometres away. Yuksom is 123 kilometres from Gangtok, and the most efficient way to get there is to fly into Gangtok and then drive down to Yuksom.

The railway station is well connected to the country’s major cities, including Kolkatta and New Delhi. You may easily obtain a taxi or cab to Yuksom from the railway station (it takes around 6-7 hours). There are also state-run buses available.

By Road, You Can Get To Yuksom

Yuksom is easily accessible by road from major Indian cities and Sikkim locations. Geyzing is 45 kilometres away, while Gangtok is 123 kilometres away. The most convenient method to get to Yuksom is to fly to Gangtok and then drive down from there.

To go to Yuksom, you can either rent a private taxi or use a shared taxi. There are also state-run buses available.
