Pelling is a little town with a lot to offer. In west Sikkim, it is nestled between the Karakoram and Himalayan peaks. It is located at an elevation of 2,150 metres in the slopes of Mount Kanchenjunga, the world’s third tallest peak. It’s the ideal spot for photographing the breathtaking vistas of the snow-capped mountains. This charming village is a well-known Sikkim hill station surrounded by alpine greenery.
This is the place to be if hiking is what gets your adrenaline pumping, since it also acts as a base for several excellent trekking paths. Aside from lush vegetation, excellent Buddhist temples, and the ruins of the 17th-century Rabdentse Palace, Pelling’s waterfalls are a delightful feature.
