Tok Ganesh

Viewpoint Tashi
The spectacular splendour of snowcapped Mt. Kanchenjunga and neighbouring valleys can be seen from this vantage point.
Banjhakri Falls and the Ropeway
The waterfall is the most popular tourist destination and is well worth visiting. Banjhakri Falls is a nice destination with stunning views, offering adventure activities such as ropeway, boating, and so on.
Handicraft and Handloom Directorate
The place was founded in 1957 with the goal of conserving Gangtok’s art and craft. This site keeps you connected to your roots in an era where modernity is the norm. Handcrafted folding tables, hand painted masques, paintings, shawls, and other items are among the items available.

Breakfast should be consumed and high energy levels should be maintained, since a 5-6 hour trip to Chungthang, which is 96 kilometres from Gangtok, lies ahead. Make a pit stop at Chungthang for a delicious meal. Continue your travel to Lachen, which is 35 kilometres from Chungthang. Lachen is one of those places that makes you fall in love with them at first sight. It is a wonderland, a community isolated from the outside world, cradled between rocks and sterns. The eye-pleasing snow-capped mountains lead you to a few intriguing locations such as Gurudongmar Lake, Thangu, and Chopta Valley.
Lake Gurudongmar
Take pleasure in the fact that Sikkim is home to the world’s tallest lake, Gurudongmar Lake. The lake is named after Guru Padmasambhava, better known as Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism.
It’s time to return to the resort for lunch once you’ve absorbed the enchantment of this location within you. Thangu is the next stop on your journey, followed by the Chopta Valley. It takes two hours to return to the hotel from here.
Valley of Thangu
Thangu, a two-hour drive from Lachen, is a charming village with flowers in May and June and considerable snowfall from October to March. The location is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts.
Drive to Yumthang, which is located at an elevation of 11800 feet, after your breakfast. Yumthang is a beautiful valley along the Lachung Chu River that is encircled by massive mountains. Rhododendrons, alpine flowers, and Primulae abound in the valley during the spring. The flora is in full bloom, giving it the appearance of a tropical paradise. Except on autumn days, the valley is hidden beneath a blanket of snow. On your journey there, you’ll pass by a famous hot spring known for its ability to cure ailments. Spend some time taking in its ethereal beauty before returning to your accommodation for lunch. Leave for Gangtok after noon.
Today is your departure day for your home. The journey draws to a close with numerous recollections. Start heading towards Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand after breakfast (Junction). Spend 4-5 hours of your drive reliving the events of the previous six days. To avoid any last-minute rush or problems, get started early. Traveling forward.
