The journey through North Sikkim is full of nature’s wonders that will never cease to inspire and fill you with peace, joy and gratitude. Some of the most fascinating and attractive tourist destinations that you will get to visit today are Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, and Naga Waterfalls. Singhik View Point is located near Mangan, and is among one of the most beautiful points to gaze at the never-fading glamour of the eastern Himalayas. A clear sky offers dazzling views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and its majestic adjacent trailing peaks that seem to stretch till infinity. You can also see the tiny houses and village hamlets dotting the green river valleys with dense forests and layers of blue mountains mingling and dancing hand in hand. The peaceful ambience makes it a perfect place to pause and breathe amidst the mountain beauty. A little further, the Seven Sisters Waterfalls present a spectacular visual treat to all your senses. Day 3Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake - Yumthang Valley – Back to Gangtok

The day 3 of the North Sikkim tour begins with a planned early morning road trip from Lachen to the legendary Gurudongmar Lake. This lake is one of the highest and most talked-about lakes in the world. It is located at an altitude of 17,800 feet. Surrounded by towering snow-capped Kanchenjunga ranges and other Himalayans peaks, this lake is considered sacred by the three main religions — Buddhists, Sikhs, and Hindus. It is this popularity among all three sects that lends this place a special charm. The crystal-clear waters of the lake are set bright with the reflection of the blue sky and towering mountain ranges. An out-of-the-world, ethereal beauty and peace envelops the setting. Religiosity mingles with natural beauty taking you to a different level altogether. This tourist point is one of the most coveted of all North Sikkim attractions. After having enough of the serene vibes of the lake, drive back to Lachen for a sumptuous lunch. In the afternoon, continue your journey toward Lachung. Lachung will come out to be a picturesque village cosily perched in the middle of a serene alpine valley. The route is exceptionally scenic, and enjoy the winding roads through the misty mountains and the cascading waterfalls. Get thrilled by the splash of colours from the rhododendron forests. Reach Lachung by evening and let the crisp mountain air and peaceful surroundings give you wings for a breezy rest of the Sikkim trip. Flanked by pine forests and flowing rivers, Lachung’s charm lies in its quiet beauty, making it a delightful place to rest before further exploring the hidden tourist gems of gorgeous North Sikkim.

Day 4Gathering the sights and sounds of Lachung via Yumthang Valley and return to Gangtok

Day 4 of your Gangtok-Lachung trip begins with a scenic drive from Lachung to Yumthang Valley, which is widely known to tourists as the Valley of Flowers. It is perched at an astonishing altitude of 11,800 feet, which makes the place remote and hence attracts only genuine nature lovers. This picturesque valley is at its attractive best during spring when it comes alive with colourful alpine flowers that bloom in abundance. It seems that these exotic flowers have painted the meadows in hues of pink, purple, red, and yellow. This valley is set against the stunning backdrop of snow-capped mountains. In the winter season, the valley transforms into a snow-covered wonderland, which has a different kind of beauty. The breathtaking and serene setting is a boon to the city dwellers who come from far and near to witness nature at its best in Sikkim. The glory of Yumthang Chu river serves to increase the beauty of the valley manifold. As the river playfully meanders through the irregular mountain terrain, you feel the various elemental beauties and joys of nature working together to increase the beauty of the valley as a whole. You can also opt for exploring the Zero Point (Yumesamdong), located further higher up at around 15,300 feet. It offers visitors a taste of the high-altitude Himalayan wilderness where all the civilised roads end and perpetual snow-covered terrains begin. A place fit for Gods and remotely located from the decadence of the human race. Subject to weather and permits, this add-on gives an unforgettable glimpse of stark beauty and icy vistas. After soaking in the tranquillity and natural splendour, return to Lachung for lunch and begin the descent back to Gangtok. The drive, lined with waterfalls and mountain views, rounds up your mesmerizing North Sikkim package tour in a fitting manner.
