The tranquil atmosphere of West Bengal will greet you as soon as you arrive at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. Our person will be available to assist you. He will assist you in getting to your hotel in Darjeeling, which is over 72 kilometres from both the railway station and the airport. You should be at your accommodation in two to two and a half hours. Check into your accommodation and prepare to unwind for the night. Get a good night’s sleep so you’ll have enough energy to visit new areas the next day.

Day 2Darjeeling (Full day local sight seeing)

Start your day at four o’clock in the morning. You will be exploring Darjeeling from the inside out today. You’ll have a day filled with the wonders of nature.

    Hill Tiger

To begin, drive to Tiger Hill as soon as the sun begins to rise. You will witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises of your life here. Your eyes will record images that will last a lifetime. The peak of Ghoom, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is Tiger Hill. From the vantage point on this hill, you can see Mount Everest in its eye. Kurseong, as well as the Balason River, Mahananda River, Mechi River, and Teesta River, can be viewed on clear days.

    Monastery of Ghoom

Visit the Old Ghoom Monastery or the Ghum Monastery on your way back to the hotel. Gelukpa owns the monastery, which is known for a 15-foot-tall statue of Lord Buddha. The title refers to the ‘Coming Buddha’ or ‘Future Buddha.’ It is also known as Yiga Choeling Monastery, and it is one of Darjeeling’s oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries.

Arrive at your accommodation, freshen up, and have breakfast before departing for the following locations:

    Institute of Himalayan Mountaineering

The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, or HMI, is a leading organisation dedicated to promoting mountaineering as a legitimate and well-organized sport.

Tea Garden of Chitrey (outer view)

Chitrey, a little hamlet in Darjeeling’s steep terrains, features lovely tea gardens that are a must-see. The breeze here is very distinct from anywhere else in the city. It smells more like tea leaves and is more refreshing. Small tea businesses sell tea prepared from leaves grown in the gardens nearby.

    Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple

The eye-catching Japanese temple is only a 10-minute drive from Darjeeling’s city centre. It was erected in 1972 and is also known as Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple by the locals. It is a two-story white building designed in the traditional Japanese style.

    Day 3Darjeeling – Kalimpong (73 km/3 hours) with a half-day tour to Kalimpong

Get up refreshed and full of energy since today is your day to explore Kalimpong. Have a proper breakfast and then check out of your accommodation and make your way to Kalimpong, your next vacation location. It will take you 2.5 to 3 hours to get to your accommodation. Check into your hotel, clean up, and eat something if you’re hungry before beginning your half-day sightseeing tour. You’ll be stopping by.

Deolo Hill, one of the two hills between which the town of Kalimpong stands, offers beautiful views. The highest peak in Kalimpong is located to the north-east of the town. The entire area, the neighbouring villages of valley Relly, the Teesta river, and the valleys from which it springs may be seen from the top.

    City of Science

Science City was formed in 2008 by the Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council (DGHC) to attract tourists to the area, resulting in an increase in tourism. In the centre, there are things aimed at raising awareness and sharing delight among children. It is a scientific wonderland for kids and is best suited for them.

Monastery of Jang Dong Palriffo Brang

It was consecrated by Dalai Lama in 1976 and is also known as Durpin Monastery. It is built in the classic Buddhist style and features lovely artwork on the walls. One of the monastery’s most important attractions is the hallowed Kunguyar.

    Dara Hill Durbin

Durpin Dara, one of the two hills between which Kalimpong is situated, is located in the town’s south-west sector. The peak offers a spectacular perspective of Kalimpong, West Sikkim’s snowcapped mountains, Jelepla Pass, and the Teesta River and its beautiful valleys. The Durbin Dara Hills even have a golf course at the top.

Day 4Kalimpong to Gangtok (73 kilometres, 3 hours)

Today will consist solely of travel to Gangtok. Enjoy a nice breakfast before packing your belongings and checking out of the hotel. You will pass through a torrent of beauty on your route to Gangtok. Your drive to Sikkim’s capital city will be made unforgettable by beautiful greenways and vivid skies. Check into your hotel in Gangtok and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5Gangtok (Full day local sight seeing)

You will travel from the bottom to the peak of Gangtok. Wake up exhausted, eat breakfast, and depart for a full day of touring in Gangtok. We will visit the following locations:

    Waterfalls of Bakthang

Bakthang Waterfalls, which cascade down from the cliffs into a little pool of water, are well worth visiting. Its beauty is beyond description. Despite its shorter height, its width compensates. This waterfall is one of Gangtok’s most popular tourist attractions. While admiring the stunning beauty of the region, have a cup of tea or cool yourself with soft beverages.

    Tashi’s perspective

This viewpoint, located over eight kilometres from the city centre of Gangtok, is recognised for providing the most beautiful sunrise views. Aside from that, on clear days, you can glimpse the spectacular range of Mt. Kanchenjunga. The monasteries of Phodong and Labrang can be found on the opposite side of the Himalayas. The views from this vantage point are breathtaking.

    Tok Ganesh

This Ganesha temple is located near the Tashi Viewpoint. Locals and tourists flock to the shrine not just to seek God’s graces, but also to be rewarded with breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, and valleys. There is also a cafe downstairs that serves cuisine, light snacks, coffee, tea, and souvenirs.

Day 6Gangtok (Tsomgo Lake Excursion and Baba Mandir)

This is the last day of the tour, but don’t be melancholy; there are still two amazing places to see. Start early in the morning, at 8 a.m. Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Mandir have been set aside for today. Both of these locations are only a short distance apart and.

    Lake Tsomgo

Changu Lake is another name for the glacial lake. The river sits at an elevation of 12,400 feet and is surrounded by rugged mountain ranges. This lake is reached through a winding route and breathtaking views. It is precious to the people of Sikkim since it is linked to various mythology and religious features. During the winter, the lake remains frozen.

    Mandir of Baba Harbhajan

The edifice is a temple and memorial dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, the “Hero of Nathula Pass.” People consider him a saint or baba (saintly father) because they believe his ghost protects soldiers stationed at the China-Tibet border and other neighbouring areas. Many folklores and legends surround his untimely demise at the age of 22.

    Optional Tour/Nathula Pass

The Nathu La pass, which connects Sikkim to a Tibetan autonomous territory in China, was once a branch of the Silk Route. It is one of India’s three open trading borders with China. Only Indian citizens are permitted to enter this area, and only after obtaining a valid permit.

Day 7Gangtok - New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (120 km, 4.5 hours)

Check out of your accommodation and make your way to the airport or train station. Leave with lovely recollections that you will treasure forever.
