Our agent will meet you at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and assist you with your travel to Gangtok, Sikkim’s calm yet adventurous capital. Rhododendrons will accompany you on your journey to your final destination. It’s not a lie that seeing the eyeful beauty on your way to your hotel will make you feel like a celebrity. The New Jalpaiguri Railway Junction is roughly 116 kilometres from Gangtok, thus it will take you about 3.5 hours to get there. The airport, on the other hand, is 126 kilometres away, leaving you with a 3.5-hour journey.

Day 2Gangtok (Full day local sightseeing)

After a good night’s sleep, it’s time to look forward to the next day with bated breath. After a hearty breakfast, embark on a Gangtok tour. Today’s agenda is jam-packed with sightseeing and entertainment. The following locations will be covered:

Tok Ganesh

Ganesh Tok is a charming Hindu temple that sprawls across steep slopes and hills and even has a café that serves light snacks and cool drinks. It is Gangtok’s highest point (6500 feet approx.) and hence offers a breathtakingly spectacular view over the capital city and its surroundings.

Viewpoint Tashi

The spectacular splendour of snowcapped Mt. Kanchenjunga and neighbouring valleys can be seen from this vantage point.

Banjhakri Falls and the Ropeway

The waterfall is the most popular tourist destination and is well worth visiting. Banjhakri Falls is a nice destination with stunning views, offering adventure activities such as ropeway, boating, and so on.

Handicraft and Handloom Directorate

The place was founded in 1957 with the goal of conserving Gangtok’s art and craft. This site keeps you connected to your roots in an era where modernity is the norm. Handcrafted folding tables, hand painted masques, paintings, shawls, and other items are among the items available.

Day 3Gangtok (Tsomgo Lake Excursion and Baba Mandir)

Today is the most exciting day of the year. As a result, skip breakfast. Fill your stomach with a small lunch. Don’t eat too much because you’re heading to Tsomgo Lake Excursion and Baba Mandir today.

The Lake Tsomgo

It is situated 40 kilometres from the city centre. A two-hour trip will take you through the picturesque Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, home to the blood pheasant and red panda. The route to this location will be surrounded by alpine trees. It is a 50-foot-deep oval-shaped lake located at an elevation of 12310 feet. This beauty is concealed behind the snow for the majority of the year. Many

Day 4Gangtok To Lachen (about 125 kilometres, 6 hours)

Wake awake. Today is your departure day for Lachen! Breakfast should be consumed and high energy levels should be maintained, since a 5-6 hour trip to Chungthang, which is 96 kilometres from Gangtok, lies ahead. Make a pit stop at Chungthang for a delicious meal. Continue your travel to Lachen, which is 35 kilometres from Chungthang. Lachen is one of those places that makes you fall in love with them at first sight. It is a wonderland, a community isolated from the outside world, cradled between rocks and sterns. The eye-pleasing snow-capped mountains lead you to a few intriguing locations such as Gurudongmar Lake, Thangu, and Chopta Valley.

Lake Gurudongmar

Take pleasure in the fact that Sikkim is home to the world’s tallest lake, Gurudongmar Lake. The lake is named after Guru Padmasambhava, better known as Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism.

It’s time to return to the resort for lunch once you’ve absorbed the enchantment of this location within you. Thangu is the next stop on your journey, followed by the Chopta Valley. It takes two hours to return to the hotel from here.

Valley of Thangu

Thangu, a two-hour drive from Lachen, is a charming village with flowers in May and June and considerable snowfall from October to March. The location is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 5Gangtok – Lachung – Yumthang Excursion

Drive to Yumthang, which is located at an elevation of 11800 feet, after your breakfast. Yumthang is a beautiful valley along the Lachung Chu River that is encircled by massive mountains. Rhododendrons, alpine flowers, and Primulae abound in the valley during the spring. The flora is in full bloom, giving it the appearance of a tropical paradise. Except on autumn days, the valley is hidden beneath a blanket of snow. On your journey there, you’ll pass by a famous hot spring known for its ability to cure ailments. Spend some time taking in its ethereal beauty before returning to your accommodation for lunch. Leave for Gangtok after noon.

Day 6Gangtok - New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (130 km/4 hours)

Today is your departure day for your home. The journey draws to a close with numerous recollections. Start heading towards Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand after breakfast (Junction).
