    Itinerary

    Day 1Gangtok: Arrival in Gangtok and leisure time

    Welcome to the heavenly abode of the North-East! Your Sikkim tour begins here. Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, our representative will warmly greet you and facilitate your transfer to Gangtok. Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of your day at your leisure. In the evening, you can explore the famous MG Road and admire the local beauty of Gangtok. Unwind and relax with an overnight stay in Gangtok.

    Day 2Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir( Nathula pass optional)

    After breakfast, embark on a day excursion to the oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake, located 40 km from Gangtok and situated at a height of 3,780 meters. It has an average depth of 50 feet and is home to the Brahminy duck and several migratory birds. Along the way, stop at Kyongnosla to appreciate the breathtaking scenery. The cool water of the lake perfectly complements the surrounding natural beauty. Travel another 17 km beyond Tsomgo Lake to Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay at your hotel.

    Optionally, you can choose to visit Nathula, an Indo-China border controlled by the Indian Army, situated approximately 20 km ahead of Tsomgo Lake at an altitude of 14,140 feet. The journey to Nathula and Baba Mandir is the same up to 16 km. At this point, the right arm of the “V,” which is 4 km, takes you to Baba Mandir, while the left arm of the “V,” which is 4 km, takes you to Nathula. Nathula Excursion can be arranged by paying an additional cost that varies from month to month. Nathula permits are confirmed 24 hours prior to the journey date and are subject to availability through a lottery system. Nathula is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for tourists. Permit processing requires a clear window of 72 hours with proper documentation. There is no refund in case the permit is confirmed by Sikkim tourism, but due to unforeseen circumstances like landslides, heavy rainfall, VIP movement, or health issues, the visit is not possible. Please note that the pickup and drop from North Sikkim Stand for Sumo/Maxx is available from 8 am to 8 pm, and Nathula requires an additional charge of Rs 6,000 per cab. (Nathula is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).

    Day 3Gangtok – Lachung (120 km / approx. 6.5 hours drive)

    After breakfast, embark on a scenic 6.5-hour drive to Lachung. En route, visit the Singhik viewpoint, Seven Sister waterfalls, Naga waterfalls, Bheema waterfalls, and Twin falls. Take a break for lunch during the drive. You will reach Lachung by evening, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner at your hotel and stay overnight.

    Please note that pickup and drop from North Sikkim Stand for Sumo/Maxx/Bolero is available from 8 am to 8 pm.

    Day 4Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok (about 20 km / 2 hour drive)

    Early in the morning, set out to visit the breathtaking Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the “Valley of Flowers”. This valley serves as the summer grazing grounds of the yaks and the winter play areas of the yetis. On the return journey, stop to explore the spring that is believed to have medicinal properties. Return to the resort for a scrumptious lunch. Later, drive back to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

    Optionally, you can visit the Zero Point by paying an additional cost of Rs. 3,000, which depends on army permit and weather conditions.

    Day 5Gangtok - New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (about 125km / 5 hours drive)

    After a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, check-out and proceed towards NJP Station / Bagdogra (IXB). Board your train or flight for your onward destination with cherished memories of your delightful holiday in Sikkim.
