Itinerary

Day 1Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri - Gangtok

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be greeted and transferred to Gangtok (114 kilometres, 4.5 hours).
Gangtok, the capital of the state of Sikkim, is a lovely and clean town with some of the greatest monasteries and sceneries in the world.
Overnight at the hotel, with the evening free for own activities and relaxation.

Day 2Gangtok to Lachen in the morning

Pickup from your Gangtok accommodation and transfer to Lachen (131 km/6.5 hours), with stops at Singhik View Point and Chumthang Valley en way.
You have the evening free to explore the lovely Himalayan village on your own.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3Day Trip to Lachung via Chopta Valley and Gurdongmar Lake

Visit Gurudongmar Lake early in the morning through Chopta Valley.
Later, return to the Lachen hotel for lunch before departing for Lachung.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4Yumthang Valley Day Trip

After breakfast, go for a half-day tour to Yumthang Valley, stopping along the way to see the Hot Spring and the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary.
Some of the images of Switzerland’s natural sceneries and the Yumthang valley are difficult to recognise.
Yumthang is around 135 kilometres from Gangtok.
Colorful blooms and orchids may be seen in April and May, although snow can be found from November to March.
Return to Lachung in time for lunch.
The rest of the day is yours to do as you like.

Day 5Lachung to Gangtok

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok (125 km/5 hours).
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri - Gangtok

Tour concludes with a morning transfer to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (114 km/ 4.5 hours).
