Itinerary

Day 1Arrive at Darjeeling

When you arrive at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, our office executive will greet you and transport you to Darjeeling in an executive vehicle.
Check into your pre-arranged accommodation and enjoy the remainder of the day at your own. Visit Tinchuley Village, Mahakal Temple, Barbotey Rock Garden, and Dali Monastery during your free time (leisure activities are not included in the package).
Darjeeling is a great place to spend the night.

Day 2Sightseeing in Darjeeling

Early in the morning, about 3.45 a.m., drive up to Tiger Hill (2,590 m) to catch a view of Mount Kangchenjunga’s multi-hued dawn.
It’s awe-inspiring to witness the mountains reflect the sunrise’s gorgeous colours.
On your way back, stop through Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. By 8 a.m., you should be back at the hotel and enjoying a delicious breakfast.
Then take a half-day city tour that includes the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed Thursdays), the Ropeway, Tenzing Rock, Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed Sundays), and the Peace Pagoda.
Return to your Darjeeling hotel for the night.

Day 3Darjeeling - Kalimpong Sightseeing

Have an excellent breakfast, check out of the hotel at 7.30 a.m., and take a comfortable car to Kalimpong.
When you arrive, check into your accommodation and go on a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. Enjoy amazing panoramas of the town, snow-capped peaks, Teesta River, and surrounding valleys from Durpin Dara Hill (4,501 ft), one of the two hills that contains the town of Kalimpong.
The Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, a botanical park, and a golf course are all located here.
The second hill on which the town is built, Deolo Hill (5,590 ft), is Kalimpong’s highest point and offers breathtaking dawn and sunset views.
At the Pine View Nursery, see magnificent flowers and cacti (which are also sold to other countries) before visiting Dr. Graham’s Home, a children’s facility founded in 1900 by Rev. Dr. J. A. Graham (a Scottish missionary).
Look at the lovely ancient church and well-kept gardens at this one-of-a-kind location.
Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 4Kalimpong - Gangtok

Check out of the accommodation at 7.30 a.m. after a hearty breakfast and drive to Gangtok (75 km, 3 hrs approx.). Gangtok, Sikkim’s capital and largest town, has a lovely and clean environment as well as some of the top attractions. The evening is set aside for relaxation.
Visit Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, Tashi View Point, Ranka Monastery, and Khangchendzonga Biosphere Reserve, or stroll through M.G. Marg or the local market (leisure activities are not included in the package). Back in Gangtok, you may relax for the night.

Day 5Explore Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathula Pass

Drive to the beautiful and sacred Tsomgo Lake (12,310 ft, depth 50 ft) set amidst luxuriant green surroundings at 8 a.m. after a pleasant breakfast. It reflects the sun’s beautiful colours throughout the day and remains frozen in the winter. Visit Baba Mandir, a temple dedicated to Captain Harbhajan Singh, an illustrious Indian Army veteran.
You may meander through M.G. Marg or the local market in the evenings, or visit Hanuman Tok, Banjhakri Waterfalls, Enchey Monastery, and Do Drul Chorten Stupa (leisure activities are not included in the package). Stay in Gangtok for the night.

Day 6Gangtok-Pelling

After a nice breakfast, drive to Pelling around 7:30 a.m. Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain, is the closest motorable point to Pelling, a tiny Himalayan town in West Sikkim.
When you arrive in Pelling, check into your hotel and prepare for a lovely Pelling sightseeing trip. Khecheopalri Lake, Pemayangtse Monastery, and Rabdantse Ruins will all be visited.
The lovely Khecheopalri Lake is a spiritual site for Hindus and Buddhists alike, and it is said to grant one’s desires. Pemayangtse Monastery, constructed by Lama Lhatsun Chempo, is one of Sikkim’s most famous and oldest monasteries.
Visit Rabdantse Ruins for spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga Mountains.
Return to the hotel for the night.

Day 7The Tour Comes to an End

Check out of the hotel after breakfast about 6:30 a.m. and be transported to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport for your return travel.
