Pelling is a charming town tucked away in the Himalayan foothills. It is located in the North Sikkim district of India. It has an abundance of natural beauty. Exotic waterfalls and lakes abound throughout the terrain. Pelling’s natural splendour is enhanced by the Changey, Rimbi, and Khangchendzonga waterfalls, as well as the Khecheopalri Lake, which entice nature enthusiasts and hikers alike. The Pemayangtse Monastery, which was built in 1705, is a fascinating destination to explore. The Rabdantse Ruins, originally the capital of Sikkim, are near to the monastery and were burnt to the ground by the Gurkhas who invaded the area. The Sangachoeling Monastery, which was built in 1697, is another renowned monastery near Pelling.
