The Lake Tsomgo

A 3-hour scenic trip will take you to an elevation of 12,400 feet, where the glacial lake will catch your attention. With the changing seasons, the lake’s surface reflects a variety of colours.
Mandir of Baba Harbhajan
The Baba Harbhajan Mandir is historically noteworthy. It is a memorial to an Indian soldier who died in a nearby stream after drowning. His soul is said to be wandering and guarding the Nathula border between India and China. It stands at a height of 13,200 feet, and the vistas from the summit are sure to captivate you. It’s a deep valley with gigantic yet humble snow-capped mountains on all sides. It’s a quiet hamlet with only a few residents. You’ll pass through hot springs and meadows on your way to this small village. Try to spot wood snipes and hoary-throated barwings in the back.
When you arrive, check into your hotel and go sightseeing.

Lake Gurudongmar
A three-hour trip will take you to a valley at an elevation of 11,800 feet. Sikhs, Buddhists, and Hindus regard the lake here to be holy, and it is one of the world’s tallest lakes. It is located near the Tibet border and is surrounded by snow-capped peaks all year.
Desert climate
The Himalayan rain-shadow zone meets the Tibetan plateau at this point. The mountains are adorned with gorgeous tones of colours and reach an altitude of 20,000 to 25,000 feet.
Today’s destination is Yumthang Valley, which translates as “Valley of Flowers.” Check out of the hotel and drive to 11,800 feet above sea level to this valley after starting your day with a delicious breakfast. You can go to the well-known hot spring, which is well-known for its skin-curing powers.
Leave for Gangtok after basking in the splendour of the valley. Cover a few tourist attractions along the way.
Mangan and Singhik
On your trip to Gangtok, you’ll pass through these two picturesque settlements. You can enjoy beautiful views of the Himalayan ranges if the weather is right and the sky is clear. The summits of Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Simvo, Kabru, Jopuno, and Mt. Siniolchu may be seen.
Optional Zero Point Tour / Extra Charges / Special Permit
On request, an optional visit to the Zero Point can be organised. It is the last bastion of civilization, located at an elevation of 15,300 feet. The Chinese international boundary is only a few metres away, thus civilians are not allowed to go any further.
Continue your travel to Gangtok after sightseeing. Check into the hotel upon arrival and spend the night there.
