Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is also known as the cosmopolitan town in North Eastern India. It offers tourists a wide range of services. Gangtok has it all, from sightseeing to shopping for authentic handloom and handicraft items. If you want to immerse yourself in Gangtok’s culture while also exploring the gorgeous town, then this package is for you!
This package allows you to not only discover the nooks and crannies of Gangtok, but also to visit the queen of Sikkim.
Our agent will meet you at the NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport and transport you to your Gangtok hotel. After you’ve completed your hotel check-in, relax and freshen up. Step out of the hotel in the evening and spend some time in MG Mart shopping for gifts and handicrafts. Return to your hotel for a nice night’s sleep.
Spend the day touring Gangtok’s most prominent tourist attractions.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, go on a local sightseeing tour of Gangtok with our representative. Tashi Viewpoint, Bakthang Waterfalls, Ganesh Tok, Enchey Monastry, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Flower Show, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway, and Banjhakri Falls are included in the Gangtok sightseeing tour. Our representative will transport you back to the hotel after the tour of the city is over.
The sacred lake and the famous temple located on the summit of the hill will be visited on the third day of the tour.
Our agent will pick you up at 8 a.m. and transport you to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet/3750 meters/3 hours drive). Tsomgo Lake, often regarded as a sacred lake, holds religious significance for Gangtok locals. You’ll visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 feet/4000 metres) after relaxing at Tsomgo Lake. On this day, an additional tour to Nathula Pass can be made; contact our representative to make arrangements.
Our agent will drive you to Darjeeling after satisfying your appetite with some genuine foods for breakfast. Check into your hotel upon arrival in Darjeeling and spend the night there comfortably.
On Day 5, you will have the opportunity to tour some of Darjeeling’s most picturesque attractions.
Start your day at 4 a.m. Our representative will take you to Tiger Hill (2590 m) to see Mt. Kanchenjunga’s magnificent scenery and spectacular dawn. Kanchenjunga is the third highest peak on the planet. You’ll stop by the Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastry on your way back. After that, our representative will transport you back to the hotel, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading out to see Padmaja Naidu Park (closed on Thursday), Chitrey Tea Garden (outside view), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Japanese Temple.
Check out of the hotel and make your way to NJP/IXB. Return home with happy memories!
