      Itinerary

      Day 1Arrival at Rishikola (Altitude: 2,000 ft)

      The first glimpse of the mountain terrain with arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Our representative shall give you a warm welcome. Drive towards Rishikola, a serene riverside village on the banks of the Reshi River which is a road journey of approximately 5–6 hrs. On the way, enjoy the lush green valleys, river views, and Himalayan foothills. Check in to your riverside homestay or resort. Evening free to relax by the Reshi River, stroll through the village, or enjoy a campfire. The riverbank is lined with cosy and comfortable picturesque cottages and homestays where travellers can unwind, dip their feet in the crystal-clear waters of the mountain streams, or enjoy a quiet campfire under a sky full of stars. Rishikola will prove to be a serene paradise for birdwatchers, nature lovers, and those seeking a rejuvenating break in the middle of peaceful surroundings. With its misty Himalayan forests, serene river trails, and warm local hospitality Rishikola is a dream destination for Silk Route travellers and is more than a stop. It is a complete experince in itself. Overnight stay at Rishikola will prove to be rejuvenating.

      Day 2Rishikola – Zuluk (Altitude: 10,000 ft)

      After breakfast, drive to Zuluk, a major attraction of this Sikkim Tour, via Rongli, Lingtam, and Padamchen. Remember to complete all Silk Route permit formalities at Rongli Check Post. Nestled beside the crystal-clear Rongli River, this village offers glimpses of local Sikkimese life with small markets, bridges, and traditional wooden houses. LIngtam will give a sense of complete tranquillity. it remains snow-free for most part of the year, which makes it ideal for a peaceful stop.  Padamchen, located at an altitude of around 8,000 ft is a warm and cozy hamlet known for its beautiful sunrise views, birdlife, and misty forests. Also, admire pine forests, terraced slopes, and mountain vistas. Reach Zuluk, a quiet Himalayan hamlet on the historic Old Silk Route. Check in to a cozy homestay and acclimatize to the mountain altitude. Evening free to explore the village and interact with locals. Overnight stay at Zuluk.

      Day 3Zuluk Sightseeing – Thambi Viewpoint – Gnathang Valley – Kupup – Gangtok

      Start for an early morning drive to Thambi Viewpoint that takes you to 11,200 ft to witness a glorious sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Proceed to Lungthung, Gnathang Valley (13,500 ft), Kupup Lake (Elephant Lake), and Old Baba Mandir. Enjoy panoramic views of the Zuluk Zig-Zag Road (32 hairpin bends). After sightseeing, descend and continue the drive to Gangtok (approx. 5–6 hrs). Evening free to stroll around MG Marg, enjoy cafés, and shop for souvenirs. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

      Day 4Gangtok Local Sightseeing & Departure

      After breakfast, visit most popular attractions in and around Gangtok that includes Banjhakri Falls, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, and Tashi View Point. The stunning 100-foot cascading Banjhakri Falls, the serene viewpoint Hanuman Tok offering panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Ganesh Tok overlooking Gangtok town and the snow peaks beyond and Tashi View Point overlooking the Kanchenjunga range will be a fulfilling Gangtok sightseeing trip for the day. If time and energy permit, visit Do Drul Chorten and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. Later, transfer to NJP / Bagdogra for departure. Tour ends with beautiful smiles and everlasting memories of the Silk Route and Sikkim.

      The estimated cost of hotel accommodation per night is: 

      For standard option  – ₹2000  to ₹2500

      For deluxe option – ₹2500 to ₹5000

      Transfers in Sikkim (Car Options)

      From airport/train station pick up and drop to transfers between attractions (such as Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake to Baba Mandir), all transfers provided in a clean and well-maintained car (SUV/hatchback). The car options are: 

      Standard four-wheeler: Tata Sumo / Bolero / WagonR  or similar

      Luxury four-wheeler: Innova / Xylo / Scorpio or similar 

      Please note that the biggest vehicle we can offer is a 7-seater SUV. We do not provide bus or tempo traveller options.

      Documents for Permits in Sikkim (ILP/PAP)
      1. Tourists with an Indian citizenship must provide Voter ID or Driving License, or Passport as proof of citizenship along with 2 passport size photos to get a permit.
      1. For kids, a birth certificate or passport along with 2 passport size photos are required documents to obtain a permit.
      1. Aadhaar card and PAN card are NOT proof of citizenship and thus will not be considered as valid documents for acquiring a permit. 
      1. Service of a tour guide is mandatory in case of a foreigner travellers who want to visit North Sikkim / Nathula pass & Baba Mandir.
      1. For Foreign travellers must obtain a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) for which a valid passport and an Indian visa along with the application form is required.
      1. Minimum two foreign tourists are required to obtain the required permit for North Sikkim/Nathula pass & Baba Mandir. Sole foreign tourists are not allowed to visit restricted areas in Sikkim.
