When you arrive at NJP/Bagdogra, you will be greeted by one of our representatives. He’ll take you to Gangtok in his car. Arrive at the hotel and check in. Get some rest and freshen up. After a sumptuous breakfast, go out on a journey to see the iconic sights of Gangtok, Sikkim’s capital. Gangtok is the gateway to Sikkim and is located at an elevation of 1,650 metres. First, go to the Bakthang Waterfalls, which are pretty large and make for excellent photo opportunities.

This location is well noted for its spectacular sunrise views. Then travel to Ganesh Tok, a charming Hindu temple with breathtaking views from the mountaintop. After that, go to Enchey Monastery, which is said to be the residence of Khangchendzonga and Yabdean, the protector deities. Take a ride on the Ropeway cable car and get a bird’s eye perspective of the area.

The Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, and Banjhakri Falls are among the other Gangtok attractions to be covered. Return to the hotel after touring. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Prepare yourself for an eventful day today! Start early in the morning, around 8 a.m., to reach the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, which is about a 3-hour journey from Gangtok and located at an elevation of 3750 m. It’s an enticing source of water that gets its allure from the surrounding snow-capped mountains and wildflowers. Hindus and Buddhists alike regard it as sacred. It freezes in the winter and resurfaces in the spring with flowering flowers in its environs. Drive to Baba Harbhajan Mandir after enjoying the lake, which is dedicated to a gallant Indian soldier named Baba Harbhajan Singh who gave his life while fulfilling his duty.

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden are among the major Darjeeling sites that will be covered today (outer view). Spend the evening on Darjeeling’s main street, MG Road.
