North East India extends a warm welcome to you. Take a picturesque journey to Gangtok after arriving at the railway station or Bagdogra airport. As you make your way to the hotel in Gangtok, take in the sights of the enormous mountains in the area, which are surrounded by jade meadows.
Check in and unwind when you arrive at the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore.
The second day of this Pelling and Gangtok vacation package begins with a substantial breakfast at the hotel, followed by Gangtok sightseeing.
Lake Tsomgo
Travel to Tsomgo Lake, which is located at a height of 12,400 feet and requires a 3-hour trip to reach. It’s a glacier lake, and the reflection of the nearby hills in the water is breathtaking.
Mandir of Baba Harbhajan
Then proceed to the Baba Harbhajan Mandir. The views from 13,200 feet above sea level, where this temple is located, are breathtaking. It is named after an Indian soldier who drowned in a nearby creek, and it is said that his soul still watches over his fellow soldiers. Many individuals bottle the water in the name of the sick, and the water appears to help them. Rides on colourfully adorned yaks and horses are also available.

Viewpoint Tashi
On a clear day, start by visiting the Tashi View Point, which offers a breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga snow peaks. It’s a spectacular sight, especially around sunrise, when the peaks glitter with changing colours.
Tok Ganesh
Then, at an elevation of almost 6,000 feet, see the Ganesh Tok, a lovely Lord Ganesha temple. The valley, snow peaks, and town can all be seen from the top of the temple.
Tok Hanuman
After that, proceed to Hanuman Tok for blessings and to take in the lush scenery and greatest views of Mount Kanchenjunga.
Waterfalls of Bakthang
The scenic Bakthang Waterfalls, located along the roadside, is Gangtok’s second best waterfall. The image of rushing water pouring over a canopy of trees is breathtaking. The mesmerising views of the massive Himalayas in the distance add to this location’s already existent attractiveness.
Handicrafts and handlooms from Gangtok
If you are artistically inclined, you can learn how to make handcrafted items and other handloom products at this location. In Gangtok, you may also visit the museum, which has some unique treasures of great artists and craftsmen.
Monastery of Enchey
Next, visit Enchey Monastry, which features unusual architecture and a pagoda-style appearance.
Center for Flower Exhibitions
The Flower Exhibition Center, which is located alongside the gorgeous Ridge Park, is your final destination in Gangtok. It is a must-see for flower lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, as there are numerous colourful flower species blossoming around the area.
Get in the car and drive to Pelling after exploring Gangtok. It is an uncharted territory that is attracting the interest of tourists. Pelling is full with culture, history, and natural beauty.
The zigzagging roads between Gangtok and Pelling will give you a burst of adrenaline while the lush green-forested peaks will calm you down.
Begin the day with a hearty breakfast and get ready for some local sightseeing. Go to the Darap Valley first. This small hamlet is an excellent spot to learn about local life and cuisine.
Kanchenjunga Waterfalls and Rimbi Waterfalls
Both of these cascades are perpetual waterfalls and one of the town’s most popular tourist attractions.
Garden of Rocks
The Rock Garden, which is filled with gardens, pools, and meandering walks, is the next stop. It’s an excellent spot for a day picnic.
Lake Khecheopalri
Then proceed to the Khecheopalri Lake, one of Pelling’s most revered waters. It is nestled amidst a dense bushy forest and is gorgeous, clean, and peaceful to explore.
Ruins of Rabdentse
Sikkim’s magnificence is reflected in the Rabdentse ruins. It is a must-see attraction for history buffs.
Monastery of Pema Yangtse
The Pema Yangtse is a short walk from the Rabdentse ruins and has spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga peaks.
Ground Helipad
Finally, pay a visit to the Helipad Ground, which is known for its spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks. The sunset vista from here must be something you’ve never seen before.
