Gangtok, Sikkim’s capital, has its own set of surprises! It is a wonderful city with rural charm, situated on a mountain slope. It serves as a starting point for numerous climbs and provides breathtaking views of the gigantic Kangchenjunga, the world’s highest peak. Pelling is another fascinating Sikkim location. Darjeeling, often known as the Queen of the Hills, is equally lovely. It’s a charming Victorian town known for its mountain scenery as well as Buddhist monasteries and temples.

NJP/Bagdogra arrival. Following a hearty greeting, our representative will transport you to Gangtok (1437 m) and assist you with hotel check-in. Clean up and unwind for a while. You can take a stroll along the MG Marg in the evening. Stay at the hotel for the night.
After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3750 m/3 hrs drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 ft/4000 m) at around 8 a.m. Tsomgo Lake is reached through a zig-zag path through rocky alpine terrain.
The lake, which lies at an elevation of 12,400 feet, is surrounded by ethereal beauty and is considered sacred. The lake takes on varied appearances depending on the season. In the winter, it is covered in snow, but in the spring, the lake is alive with colourful blooms.
Baba Harbhajan Mandir, also known as the shrine, is a must-see attraction in Sikkim. It is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a heroic Indian soldier.
We will take you on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok after breakfast. You will go to Ganesh Tok, which has been visited by humans for centuries and gives spectacular views of Kangchenjunga. Enjoy a picnic at the Banjhakri waterfall, which is a beautiful site. Then visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to learn about Tibet’s rich cultural legacy and Buddhist culture. The Ropeway is the next attraction, which gives spectacular mountain vistas. The Bakthang Waterfalls, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Tashi View Point, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Enchey Monastery, and Flower Show are among the other attractions in Gangtok.
Return to the motel to spend the night.
We will drive you to Pelling after breakfast. The route from Gangtok to Pelling is spectacular, passing through beautiful tea plantations, stunning mountains, and beautiful scenery. Pelling is a charming village nestled in the pine forest. It provides spectacular views of snow-capped peaks including the massive Kangchenjunga. It also has a number of historic monasteries.
You will be fatigued after a long travel of more than 5 hours, so rest and enjoy the rest of the day.
Prepare to tour Pelling’s local sights after breakfast. Start with the Kanchenjunga waterfalls, which will undoubtedly refresh you with their cascading water and lush surrounds. Then visit the beautiful Sewaro rock garden, which is lush with flora. Darap Valley, a picturesque hideaway, is next on the list. Take a break for lunch before continuing your tour to Pema Yangtse monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri holy Lake, and Rabdentse Ruins. In the evening, return to the hotel and remain the night.
Drive to Darjeeling after breakfast. Although the road is not particularly smooth, you will pass through beautiful green gardens, rivers, picturesque villages, and old bridges along the way.
Arrive at the Darjeeling hotel, check in, and stay the night.
Begin your tour early in the morning (about 4 a.m.) by driving to Tiger Hill (2590 m) for breathtaking views of the dawn over Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is the hill station’s highest peak. On your way back, stop through Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After a hearty breakfast, head to the Japanese Temple, a well-known Buddhist temple that features traditional Japanese architecture. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden are among the other attractions that will be explored (outer view). Take a stroll around Mall Road in the evening.
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and we’ll transport you back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)/Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Gangtok with memories to last a lifetime!
