Pelling is a charming Himalayan town. It is located in India’s North Sikkim district. It has a lot of natural beauty. Exotic waterfalls and lakes dot the terrain. Pelling’s natural splendour is enhanced by the Changey, Rimbi, and Khangchendzonga waterfalls, as well as the Khecheopalri Lake, all of which entice nature enthusiasts and hikers alike. The Pemayangtse Monastery, built in 1705, is a fascinating destination to explore. The Rabdantse Ruins, originally the capital of Sikkim, lie near to the monastery and were burnt to the ground by Gurkhas who invaded the area. Sangachoeling Monastery, built in 1697, is another renowned monastery in Pelling.
