Kalimpong is known as one of West Bengal’s best hill stations, having abundant of natural beauty. It stands at 1,250 metres above sea level. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim, one of Northeast India’s most attractive places. It is located at a height of 5,410 feet. Gangtok, perched on a forested mountain, offers breathtaking views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s third highest peak.

After a leisurely breakfast, depart for a half-day sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. It will take approximately four hours. Begin your journey in East Kalimpong’s Deolo Hill. This captivating parkland spans 8 acres and features well-kept colourful flower gardens as well as natural beauty. From this slope, you may get stunning views of Kanchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain.
Durpin Dara hill and a valley with a river running through it are two other attractions here. Visit the Scientific Centre on Deolo Hill to observe a collection of scientific artefacts. Then proceed to Jang Dong Palriffo Brang, a Tibetan monastery on Durpin Hill. It contains a number of uncommon scriptures.
Begin your journey early in the morning to explore the stunning Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet/3750 meters/3 hours drive). This glacier lake draws anyone who gaze upon it to another planet filled with natural splendour.
The lake takes on a different appearance in the winter when it is blanketed in snow, and in the spring when it teems with life as its surroundings become vibrant with colourful blooms. Many different bird species use it as a temporary home. Take a break for breakfast before heading to Baba Mandir, which is at an elevation of 13,200 feet (4000 metres). This temple was created to honour the valour and commitment of Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian soldier.
Drive to Lachung, which is at an elevation of 8,800 feet, after breakfast. This Sikkim traditional village has a pristine ecology that includes waterfalls, fruit orchards, streams, and a river. Stop at Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls on your route to Lachung to take in the scenery. After that, you might request that the driver make a lunch stop. Continue your journey to Lachung after lunch. Check into the hotel as you arrive. The rest of the day is free. Visit Lachung Gompa and browse the handicraft centre for unique items. Our representative will pick you up early in the morning and transport you to Yumthang Valley, which is positioned at an elevation of 11,800 feet. Yumthang translates to Flower Valley. It is one of Sikkim’s most famous destinations, with abundance of natural beauty. It’s a typical valley, with plenty of yaks, goats, and horses grazing on green plains. You will return to the hotel for lunch before departing for Gangtok. Visit Bheema and Twin Waterfalls along the trip for a memorable experience. Pelling is a charming village nestled in the Kanchenjunga mountains. Pure natural beauty and spectacular vistas of Kanchenjunga heal the soul. Begin with Darap Valley, which captivates visitors with its natural splendour. Then head to Kanchenjunga Falls, a beautiful waterfall where you may spend some quality time in nature. Then visit the Rimbi Falls and Rock Garden. Drive to Darjeeling after that. When you arrive in Darjeeling, check into your accommodation. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Begin your sightseeing early in the morning, around 4 a.m., to reach the alluring Tiger Hill (2590 m), Darjeeling’s highest point. People gather here to photograph the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Visit Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track in a beautiful environment, and Ghoom Monastery on your way back to the hotel. The Japanese Temple is next on the agenda, with its traditional architecture providing a visual treat. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden are among the other sights you’ll see (outer view).
