Rinchenpong Monastery is located about 12 km from Legship and is a serene Buddhist monastery located in enigmatic and charming scenic natural surroundings. It is known for its intricate architecture and peaceful ambiance, offering visitors an exclusive opportunity to experience the spiritual aspects of Sikkim. This unique monastery was established in 1730 by the Ngadakpa Lama in this village by the same name, Rinchenpong. It is very distinguished on account of being the third oldest monastery in Sikkim. The monastery is the house to a rare avatar of Buddha, known as, Ati Buddha or Adi Buddha, a statue in the Yab-Yum. Also called the Primordial Buddha, this facet of Buddha is said to be the true Buddha, symbolically represented as a naked Buddha in blue while in meditation in a position of embracing a woman. The power of union of the male and female has been highlighted through this form.

Situated around 20 km from Legship, Reshi Hot Springs is a natural hot water spring and entices visitors with the lure of its therapeutic properties. The water is rich in minerals and is believed to have medicinal benefits and attracts visitors seeking relaxation and healing. The sulphur content is intensely effective in curing all kinds of skin ailments. The spring site is quite easily accessible, through a downhill drive of an hour in the direction of the Rangit River valley.

Ralong Monastery is located around 35 km from Legship and is considered a very important Buddhist monastery belonging to the Kagyu sect of Buddhism. The monastery offers beatific views of the surrounding hills creating everlasting memories and is the house of gorgeous wall paintings and thangkas.
The world-famous Temi Tea Garden is located about 25 km from Legship and is the only tea estate in Sikkim. It is one of the most picturesque tea gardens of the location.
